Governor to fill the unexpired term of Judge Denise Clayton in November 2000 - elected in 2002. JEFFERSON FAMILY COURT, DIVISION 7 - appointed by Chief

Justice Joseph Lambert in November 2000. RESPONSIBILITIES - preside over dockets involving adoptions, custody matters, dependency, neglect and abuse, divorce, emergency protective orders/domestic violence orders, child support, paternity and termination of parental rights actions. I have presided over more than 230 trials, 1,200 hearings, 4,200 domestic violence proceedings, 2,800 dependency, neglect and abuse proceedings, 6,100 paternity proceedings, 790 status proceedings, 5,610 motions, 560 case management conferences, 20 termination of parental rights cases and 720 emergency proceedings
