DAVID P. BOWLES is a partner in the Louisville officer of Landrum & Shouse, LLP. He received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Louisville and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Brandeis School of Law. He is also a veteran law enforcement officer, having retired at the rank of Lieutenant from the Jefferson County Police Department. His law practice is concentrated in public sector litigation, and he has litigated in over twenty-eight Kentucky counties and cities. He has tried cases in Kentucky state and federal courts, and was among The Most Prolific Trial Attorneys of 2006 (Kentucky Trial Court Review, 8th Ed.). He has published opinions at the Kentucky Court of Appeals, the Kentucky Supreme Court and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. A member of the Louisville Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association, David is also a member of the 2008 Louisville Bar Association Leadership Academy. He and his wife, Maria, are lifelong residents of Louisville and are the proud parents of two children. David serves as Chairman of his Parish Pastoral Council and is a den leader for the Cub Scouts of America. |
